PSA statement in solidarity with Ukraine

The Governing Board of PSA strongly condemns Russia's war against the Ukrainian people and their democratically elected government. We join many other learned societies worldwide in standing in solidarity with the people of Ukraine at this time of suffering and in calling on nations and academic institutions at large to provide all the necessary support and assistance for displaced colleagues and their families. We applaud the courage of Russian people and colleagues who oppose the war and have spoken up against it.

We strongly believe in the values of scientific cooperation across borders, open dialogue, freedom, solidarity and the respect of fundamental human rights. PSA is committed to foster those values and to engage in constructive dialogue with scholars of all nationalities and ethnicities.
